This site was initially inspired by my love of, and early use of, Tumblr. The homepage is intended to mimic that Tumblr Blog feel, while highlighting the graveyard of technological advances that now exist in the year 2024.

Each page pulls from a different news article, creating a kind of digital scrapbook of specific internet moments. Do you remember where you were when Appple announced they were discontinuing the iPod Touch? I do. The backdrop mimics the American Apparel Grid, something that was a facet of Tumblr culture to me at the time. Click here to see.

While the header might suggest that this site is solely dedicated to the origins of technology, it actually represents the beginning of my personal relationship with tech, as someone born in 2002. My exploration of these technologies raises an important question: What does it mean to grow up entirely in the Digital Age?
